I pray to God Almighty to bless the Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Essam Sharaf with good health and to eliminate the health problems that he faced before taking the Constitutional oath. I also pray that the Zionist media does not raise the "Anti-Semitism" card as they immediately did after the nomination of Dr. Sharaf as prime minister.
As soon as Dr. Sharaf was nominated for the post of prime minister, the Israeli media including Yediot Ahronot, Maariv and The Maker newspapers started criticizing his position opposing the policies of the Zionist State and accused him of anti-Semitism, as they did with Foreign Minister Nabeel Al-Arabi.
Israeli newspapers didn't hide anger because Dr. Sharaf is not "a friend of Israel", and his opposition to normalization of relations has led to the fear of Dr. Sharaf and his government.
Honestly, the Israeli reaction made me so happy. Despite the fact that the efforts during the coming period should be focused on internal affairs, efforts should also be focused on a shift in the relationship with the Zionist entity especially regarding the export of gas, and condemning the Israeli oppression of the Palestinian people. The secret terms of the normalization of relations agreement as well as other concessions which Mubarak's regime offered in exchange for US, western and Israeli support should be scrapped.
